Yesterday, we welcomed Rotarian Steve Holmes from Edgewater Rotary at our meeting to share with us about their “Veteran Canes Project.” The club members take broken or discarded pool cues and turn them into beautiful canes for veterans. Thank you for dropping by and sharing about this neat project your Club has spearheaded!
And a Rotary tradition, Steve shared their Club flag with us and we were able to share ours with him!

Our speaker chair and current Rotary president, Carli Amlin, welcomed Coach Matt Burgbacher to speak at lunch today. We had a great time hearing about his goals for the upcoming Tippecanoe Football season and sharing about how far the team has come since his start as head coach in 2019.
What are his 2 rules for the team?
1) Be a great teammate.
2) Be where you’re suppose to be when you’re suppose to be there!
Good luck to our Tippecanoe Red Devils as they take on Bellbrook Friday night at Home! Thank you for taking the time with us Coach.

We LOVE delivering books! Kindergartners at both Bethel Local Schools and Tipp City Schools received the water safety book “Josh the Otter” to help kickoff summer fun and make sure kiddos are aware of ways to be safe near water.
Thank you to Rotarians Lori, Corey, and Liz for making sure each student received a book!

We’re a little behind sharing our updates from recent meetings, but we had to share about a recent visit from Troy-Miami County Public Library!
Rotary Speaker Chair Lisa Santucci welcomed Andrea Wackler, along with Dolly Parton, to speak about the Imagination Library of Miami County-Ohio. This program provides a childrens book every month to kids in Miami County up to the age of 5! We love this program and made a donation to help fund the books.
