Middle school Lifewise students have been working on Lifewise lesson 39, ‘ Jesus as the second Adam!’ They got to look up scriptures with a partner from Genesis and the New Testament & then share how Adam & Jesus are alike & different in class today!

They also got to look at Luke 3:23,38 & see Jesus’s family lineage. They picked out what people in Jesus’s family we learned about in prior years of Lifewise! Today, they put Jesus’s family in chronological order starting with Adam & Eve & the tree to Jesus and the cross while enjoying outside sunshine ☀️!

You may also notice students are bringing home a scripture verse related to the lesson plans! They are able to choice to give the scripture or a Jesus loves you bracelet to someone after school & preferably not a family member in their household 😉! The goal is to give a little of the Bible through scripture or a little Jesus to someone in the world as this group of Bethel 🐝s is the light of the world & their good deeds ARE SHINING so others may praise God as the book of Matthew tells us!! 2026/ 2027 Bethel Lifewise has started again and we pray to God to bring a safe, exciting and fun school year for everyone in the program & the Bethel community! We also pray to bring more Bethel students to JOIN US, in Jesus’s name, Amen!!

Each teacher will be posting about their classes and students this year! Some wks there maybe multiple posts for Bethel Lifewise & parents just be looking for the grades or teachers to get updates about Bethel Lifewise classes on Facebook!

**Ms. Christie will be teaching the 1st grade class & this special group has been enjoying the sunshine ☀️ while reading scripture! 1st graders are learning about what the Bible is and also learning about Genesis & God creating everything in the beginning!! Students were able to learn that God loves us SOOO much he wrote a love letter to us through the Bible & also got to create things with clay just like God created Adam & Eve in the garden!!!

** Mr. Lou will be teaching 2nd- 4thgrades again this year and will be posting on his class activities!!!

** Ms. Katie will be teaching 5th and 6th grade this year!

The middle schoolers will be able to start a new middle school curriculum this year and PLEASE IF YOUR CHILD WAS GIVEN a BIBLE FROM LIFEWISE ( and if you have time) REMIND THEM TO BRING IT ON WEDNESDAYS!!!

MS has started learning that the Bible is trustworthy & will be continuing to be comparing Adam & Jesus in October, because Jesus was like a ‘ second Adam!’ 💜💜Also, this year we hope to ‘ be the light of the world’ as Jesus told us in Matthew 5:14/16 & bring scripture or a little Jesus to more people & students have come up with an idea on how to do this for their class reward!! 👏👏💜💜

We are excited! We have begun a new year of reaching the hearts and minds of young people with the Gospel - the Good News that Jesus has come to save us and make us right with God!
Grades 1-4 started the year with an overview "What is the Bible?" and how it conveys a love letter to us from God the Father who sent His Son to die a sinner's death on a cross to save us from our sins.
Week 2: Grades 2-4 learned about the Prophet Jeremiah. The Israelites in Jeremiah’s day broke the covenant just like their ancestors before them. The prophet Jeremiah told about a new covenant. He prophesied about a coming day when God would forgive sin and write His law on the hearts of His people. This prophecy is fulfilled in Jesus. Jesus did not come to get rid of the law (Matt. 5:17). Through His sinless life, Jesus fulfilled the demands of the Old Covenant. The New Covenant promised that God would forgive sin. God forgives sin through His Son, Jesus.
Week 3: Grades 2-4 learned about the Last Supper where Jesus proclaimed that His blood represented the New Covenant that Jeremiah prophesied about. God forgives the sins of those who trust in His Son, Jesus. Jesus knew that His death was God’s plan to save people from sin. Jesus’ friends turned against Him, and He was arrested and put on trial, but Jesus followed His Father’s plan in order to bring salvation to the world. He is worthy to be praised!
Thank you, parents for allowing us the privelege of sharing God's Word with your children. We're looking forward to a great year of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ to your children!

Our 5th and 6th grade LifeWise students had an amazing time visiting the Ark Encounter today! What a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the end of our school year together.

We are so grateful to Tipp City Global Methodist Church for making this special experience possible through their generosity and support. Our students created wonderful memories enjoying an unforgettable day of learning.

Last week Bethel LifeWise jumped into the book of Revelation! We learned that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Living One. It was awesome to talk about how we can trust that Jesus is coming again (like He promised) and will make everything new, because He came the first time (like He promised) to rescue us from sin and death! A bell race review was also a fun way to enjoy our time together!

Student have returned from Spring Break and students learned about the Great Commission and Ascension of Jesus after he rolled away the stone. They learned about Jesus walking the earth for 40 days and asking his followers to spread the gospel to the world and then he ascended to the clouds. This was the wk of April 6th through the 10th and then students did a game of using cotton balls that are like clouds and trying to get as many as they can in cups.

This wk students learned about the Holy Spirit. This was a very important lesson, because Jesus promised us a Helper when he ascended into Heaven and it was the Holy Spirit. Students read in the Bible about how the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles during Pentecost with a strong 💨wind. Then students had to take marshmallows and a straw and create a strong wind and whoever got their marshmallow across the tape line first won!!
