📣New Chief of Emergency Services Selected 🚒🚑

The City of Tipp City is pleased to announce the selection of Adam Howard as the City's new Chief of Emergency Services following a competitive selection process.

Chief Howard has served as Tipp City's Assistant Emergency Services Chief since 2024. Prior to joining Tipp City, he served as a Battalion Chief with the Fairborn Fire Department. He brings more than two decades of fire service experience to the role, along with a strong background in emergency response, leadership, and departmental operations.

Howard holds a bachelor's degree in Fire Safety Engineering Technologies and a master's degree in Organizational Leadership. He is also a graduate of the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer Program, one of the nation's premier professional development programs for fire service leaders.

"Adam has demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to the Tipp City community during his time with the City," said City Manager Eric Mack. "I look forward to seeing him excel in this new leadership role and continue building on the high level of emergency services our residents expect and deserve."

As Emergency Services Chief, Howard will oversee the Tipp City Emergency Services Department, including fire, rescue, emergency medical services, department administration, training, personnel management, and long-term planning for the department.

From Chief Howard: "I am honored to be named the next Chief of Fire & Emergency Services and excited to build upon the rich history and impressive momentum of this organization. I look forward to leading and supporting this group of dedicated public servants, as we continue making positive impacts on the quality of life for the citizens of Tipp City and Monroe Township."

Congratulations, Chief Howard! 👏

Our thoughts and prayers are with Missy’s family and the members of Pleasant Hill Fire Department, Miami County Ohio.
