Im a complete dunce and forgot to post this months ago but all of these folks still deserve recognition plus some.
When we did our drag event last June to bring a slice of pride to town we desperately needed voulenteers for security.
These folks stepped up for us. This wasnt the first time either. As these folks have helped us before or maybe some of their work family has. You may recognize some of these beautiful humans from other community outreach activities they routinely preform.

I want to say a huge massive thank you to all the folks who have reached out willing to voulenteer time and resources to making sure Three Rivers gets the pride celebration it deserves!
With that said there's been a huge influx in DM's and I'm just one person. So Im going to be beefing up these public postings with some FAQ's.
Now with that statement being said please also take into consideration I have 0 PR training. So if at anytime youre thinking to yourself "wow what a bold thing to inform the public of." You're probably right but until someone else starts writing these things you're stuck with me 🤷🏽‍♀️ I also work full time and go to school part time plus attend this board so time is of the essence and communication has to happen quickly just bare with me.

This post wont be too crazy. Just general information.

We meet once a month in the evenings and communicate throughout the month on discord. As the festival approaches we increase the in person meetings. Still occurring in the evening.

No you dont have to be a member of the alphabet mafia to join. We dont care if you're straight! Just dont do that in front of my dog.

And if you couldn't tell we are not the most formal set up. We refer to ourselves as a board but in full transparency were just folks who really care about what Pride symbolizes. We want the folks to enjoy the festival. We want to see the town poured into the Riv to enjoy a drag show. We just community for everyone here. Thats it. I dont know how else to put it.

Labor days over its time to work!!
If we want Three Rivers Pride to happen this upcoming year (2027) we need all the communal support we can get!
We are still looking for board members! Temporary or permanent we need you!!
Setting up a festival takes at a minimum 6 folks and right now we have 3.5 ( one of us left state 🥲)

After a full night of recovery sleep 😴 I wanted to come on here and first thank the members of our community who showed up to celebrate pride with us! You guys are the reason why we refuse to give up on Three Rivers!!
Next a huge thank you to the Riviera Theatre & Bar. Your constant support has paved the path for us to even exist! And you guys gave me pistachio pizza for the first time ever and it was delicious and thats just something you dont forget.
Last but definitely never least. A huge huge huge thank you and bottomless gratitude for the The Kunty Kittens. You guys showed up showed out and left jaws on the floor. Last night MoMo mentioned shes celebrating a massive milestone this year. I believe she stated this is her 30 year anniversary preforming. It hit me like a pile of bricks that this fight has been ongoing since before I was born. That there were people fighting for our future before we even existed. They knew that q***r love, expression, and art were never going away and they fought for us. I dont think I’ve ever seen such a passionate group of individuals. Kittens, you are inspiration and resilience manifested with some big lashes on. We owe you and the Riv our souls at this point.
Once again a huge thank you to both groups. Last night was a blast and I cant wait to do it again ✨️
