Reaching HOPE collaborated with over 50 agencies last year: law enforcement, schools, victim service agencies, community organizations, and more.

To every partner who refers a family, co-responds to a crisis, hosts a training, or simply shows up: thank you. This work only works together. 💙

Healing doesn't stop when the session ends. And yes, play is for everyone — adults and children alike. 💙

Here's why play matters:
🎨 Stimulates the mind and sparks creativity
💪 Releases stress and feel-good endorphins
🧠 Improves brain function and supports memory
👨‍👩‍👧 Strengthens relationships and family communication

This week, build in 15 minutes of play with your family: a game, a craft, a dance break. Connection is built in the little moments.

Sometimes the people who need support don't ask for it. Knowing the signs can make you the person who notices.

Watch for changes: in mood, in sleep, in appetite, in withdrawal from people or activities they love. In kids, it can look like acting out. In adults, like going quiet.

You don't need to have the answers. You just need to start the conversation: "I've noticed you don't seem like yourself. I'm here."

Noticing is the first act of care. 💙

Parenting is one of the most important and challenging roles there is. At Reaching Hope, we believe mental wellness starts at home. 💙

1. Create a safe space to talk. Let your child know their feelings are always welcome.
2. Stay connected. Even 10 minutes of undivided attention goes a long way.
3. Know the signs. Changes in mood, sleep, or behavior can be early indicators your child needs extra support. Trust your instincts.
4. Ask for help when you need it. You don't have to navigate this alone.

Colorado needs more trauma-trained therapists. So we train them.

Our internship and externship programs give emerging clinicians real experience in trauma-informed, family-centered care, with supervision from therapists who do this work every day. Last year alone, 8 practitioners were supervised through our programs.

Every clinician we train multiplies the number of families who can get help. That's how you scale healing.
