Trauma changes people. But it doesn't get the final word.

Post-traumatic growth is real, and we see it every week: kids who become the steady ones in their friend group, parents who break patterns that ran through generations, families who come out the other side closer than they started.

Healing isn't going back to who you were. It's becoming someone stronger. 💙

When mental health meets community, real change happens. Here's the impact of our Co-Responders Program in 2025. 💙

✦ 120+ on-scene crisis support sessions
✦ 110 community members who received crisis support
✦ 295 community members who received case management support
✦ 50+ police officers trained with the Reaching Hope curriculum
✦ 120+ collaborations with police officers

None of this is possible without the trust of our community and the officers who walk alongside us. Together, we're changing how mental health crises are handled — with compassion, dignity, and care.

Empowering families is at the heart of everything we do. Here are a few ways Reaching HOPE shows up:

Crisis Support. We provide crisis support through Brighton Police Department's Mental Health Co-responder program.

Case Management. We walk alongside families to connect them with the right resources and next steps toward stability.

Trauma-informed therapy: We offer therapy services for every safe family member, all at the same appointment time, each week.

Every family has a story. We're here to help you write the next chapter with hope. 💙

Did you know schools are often the first place students and families turn to for mental health support?

That's why prevention in schools is critical to breaking the cycle of trauma before it deepens. School psychologists, counselors, social workers, teachers, and behavior specialists all play a role in early intervention — creating environments where healing can begin.

When we invest in school-based mental health, we reach children before trauma becomes generational.

Prevention isn't just about stopping harm. It's about building resilience so every child can thrive.

Therapy only works if you can speak freely. In your own words. In your own language.

Reaching HOPE provides services in English and Spanish because access isn't just about cost or location. It's about whether someone can sit across from a therapist and be fully understood.

La terapia solo funciona si puedes hablar con libertad. En tus propias palabras. En tu propio idioma.

Everyone deserves that. 💙

Behind every statistic is a story of courage, resilience, and hope. Here's the impact we made together in 2025:

💙 4,765+ individual, group, and family therapy sessions
💙 ~400 children and families supported on their healing journey
💙 50+ partner agencies collaborating to end the cycle of violence
💙 40+ trauma-informed trainings provided to community members and victim service agencies

These numbers represent real people: survivors who found their voice, families who discovered healing, a community committed to breaking the intergenerational cycle of trauma.

Here's to continuing this work in 2026 and beyond. 🙏

Self-care doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. Sometimes the smallest acts of care make the biggest difference. 💙

1. Rest without guilt. A nap, an early bedtime, or simply sitting in quiet counts.
2. Move your body, your way. A 10-minute walk or dancing in your kitchen counts. Movement is medicine.
3. Nourish yourself. Drink the extra glass of water. Eat something that makes you feel good from the inside out.
4. Set one small boundary. Say no to something that drains you, or yes to something that fills you up.
5. Check in with yourself. Ask: how am I really doing?

Self-care is not selfish. It's necessary.
