This past weekend we teamed up with Lafourche Parish Naacp and Peaches Mini Mart to bring a group of adults and kids to the Whitney Plantation for their Annual JUNETEENTH celebration. It was a educationally enlightening experience. There were historians and civil rights pioneers for all to learn from. We plan to attend again next year.
