The Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation supports and promotes the interests and passions that enriched Jay

The Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation supports and promotes the interests and passions that enriched Jayna Murray’s life, by making them available to others in hopes of similarly enriching their lives. The Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation will have a scholarship program that is designed to help assist qualified individuals in having access to the same programs in which Jayna participated and which played an important role in making her the special person that she was. The programs in which Jayna participated, and which will receive funds for the benefit of qualified individuals from The Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation will include, but not be limited to, St. Louis University Madrid study abroad program, Semester at Sea, George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, and Kamp Kanakuk.

Ahead of Jayna’s birthday on November 22, we’re taking a moment to remember Jayna Troxel Murray. She was a vibrant soul who loved the arts, travel, academics and lived boldly. Jayna’s legacy continues through the Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation, which supports the very schools and programs that shaped who she was.

This year we’re sharing something important: our annual holiday ornaments, which many of you have supported, won’t be available. We put a lot into trying, but this year’s challenges simply stretched us too thin. We’re sorry to those who looked forward to them, and we thank you for understanding.
We fully plan to bring the ornaments back next year, refreshed and meaningful as ever.

On Jayna’s birthday, this Saturday, November 22, we invite you to honor her by doing something slightly outside your comfort zone and reaching out to a friend you haven’t talked to in a while. Jayna lived with purpose and presence. Let’s bring a little of that into our day today.

Thanks to everyone who keeps her memory alive and supports the Foundation’s work of opening doors in arts, education and adventure.
