Foundation for Orthoptic Research and Education in the Americas

Join us in supporting FOREA as we fight childhood blindness and help children and adults suffering from debilitating double vision and eye misalignments.

FOREA strives to help improve the quality of life of children and adults who suffer from vision disorders affecting visual development and eye alignment. Through raising funds to support Orthoptic research and Orthoptic education, better care can be provided to patients to fulfill this goal.

It's finally time for The Arlene E. Stearns Memorial Student Scholarship applications!✨ This scholarship is a part of the AES Memorial Fund, and is designed for newly accepted students to orthoptic/vision science programs in the United States or Canada. 🤓

Orthoptic fellowship programs are intensive two-year training programs that can impose financial burdens on students with their tuition and room and board fees. With this scholarship, FOREA hopes to alleviate those financial challenges that incoming students face. 🙌🏼

Applications open on April 20th, so be sure to mark it on your calendar! 📌

Submission deadline is on July 1st.
