CKMC is currently accepting applications for individuals who want to help support children and families battling brain tumors throughout the Houston area.

You do not need personal experience with a brain tumor diagnosis to make a difference. What matters most is a compassionate heart, a willingness to serve, and the energy to help us get things done for the families who depend on our support.

If you're looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community and help bring hope to children and families facing the unimaginable, there is a seat for you on our board.

Please note that all CKMC board members serve on a volunteer basis. We are looking for individuals willing to serve alongside a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to bringing hope and support to the families we serve.

Today marks the angelversary of one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. Colton was a boy who was forced to grow up far too soon. From the age of 5 until 14, he fought battles no child should ever have to face, yet he met each day with positivity, laughter, and an endless supply of jokes. He simply wanted what every child deserves, a chance to live a normal life, free from the shadow that cancer cast over him.

Some of the hardest conversations I ever had with Colton were about just that. He didn’t dream of extraordinary things; he dreamed of ordinary ones, going to school, spending time with friends, making plans for the future, and living life like every other kid his age. Despite everything he endured, he never lost his spirit, his sense of humor, or his ability to bring light to those around him.

Today, we remember Colton not for the disease he battled, but for the incredible young man he became, the lives he touched, and the love he continues to inspire. We miss you deeply, buddy. Your courage, your laughter, and your legacy will never be forgotten.

Today, we remember our sweet Kiss of Hope Warrior, Harper, on what would have been her 10th birthday.

Harper filled the world with joy, laughter, and a spirit all her own. Her memory continues to shine brightly through the lives she touched. At the CKMC Foundation, we are honored to carry her memory forward and celebrate the beautiful impact she made during her time with us.

Today, we hold Harper's family especially close in our hearts as we remember and celebrate a remarkable little girl who will remain in our hearts. 💜

🎉 Happy Birthday, Bobbie! 🎉

Bobbie is such a huge part of our team and the heart of our mission. The compassion, understanding, and love she shows our families every day is truly something special. She has a way of making people feel seen, heard, and supported when they need it most.

And today, we can’t help but think of Nova. We know she’s looking down on her mom with the biggest smile, so proud of the work she continues to do and the lives she touches every day. Her love is always with us, and her presence is felt in so many ways.

We are so grateful for you, Bobbie. We hope your birthday is filled with love, joy, and all the things that make you smile. ❤️🎂

On this first angelversary of our sweet Kiss of Hope Princess Heidi, we remember her brave and lovable spirit.

We were truly blessed to have known such a special young woman. The smile on Heidi’s face as she took that joy ride in her favorite car, a McLaren, will remain in our hearts forever.

One of our latest Kisses of Hope experiences took Audrey and her family to Nashville for her cheer competition, and from there, the adventure continued to the beautiful Tennessee mountains near Dollywood.
A speical thank you to Turnberry for providing accomodations during Audrey's cheer competition in Nashville and helping to make the experience even more meaningful for her family.
They spent time exploring the area, making memories together, and enjoying Audrey's favorite rides and attractions at Dollywood. Seeing her smile through every moment is exactly what Kiss of Hope is all about. 💖

She loves chocolate ice cream, animals, crafts, horseback riding, and adventures to the beach, mountains, and theme parks. Madison continues to shine while battling a brain tumor with incredible strength, a creative heart and courage. We’re so honored to have her in the Kiss of Hope family. 💋🩶 🩶
