Our Pack 167 AOL Cubs had some fun being invited to a few different Troops for Activities this past week. Troop 158 invited us to their Halloween Party where the kids had fun wearing costumes, playing games and wrapping leaders up as mummy’s!Troop 194 had a fun Trunk or Treat, hayride and roasting marshmallows for s’mores. While Troop 168 welcomed us with some ghoulish, spine chilling fun with their Haunted Trail that ended with fresh popped popcorn and hot apple cider. Thank you to all the Troops who included our Scouts in their fun fall activities. 👻 🎃

Tonight’s Pack Meeting was a monster of a good time! The Bear Den lead us in a physical fitness Simon Says activity and a Scout is “Thrifty” our Pack took our Pecatonica Popcorn boxes and reused them to make Monster Boxes to kick off the spooky season ahead.

Our Lion 🦁 Den is off to roaring good start! Our littlest Cubs had their first 2 meetings. At their first meeting they learned about the Scout Oath and Scout Law. This evening our Lion 🦁 Den learned about the Six Essentials and the S.A.W. Method. They also went on an evening scavenger hunt hike looking for the things we learned about tonight and they made a special trail mix. Thank you to our AOL “Denner’s” Connor and Matthew who volunteered to help our Lion Crew, they were a big help!

Thank you to Troop 194 for hosting our AOL Den this evening and helping us accomplish most of our Outdoor Adventurer requirements. Our Cub Scouts had a great time learning beside older Scouts about the steps that go into planning a campout, picking the appropriate spot for and setting up their tent as well as fire safety, building and starting a safe fire and ended with some skits, songs and fun around the campfire.
