Our students and staff from PS/MS 218 were thrilled to join Mayor Mamdani, City leaders, and TDF for today’s announcement expanding access to theater and the arts for young New Yorkers. Thank you to the NYC Mayor's Office and its Office of Mass Engagement for inviting WHEDco to be part of this special moment!

We commend the administration’s continued efforts to make New York City’s extraordinary arts and cultural experiences more accessible to all, especially our youth. Every young person deserves the opportunity to experience, explore and be inspired by the arts 🎭✨
