Say hello to Warrior, one of our arena's most trusted teammates!

Warrior is a 2004 bay roan Paint gelding who was donated by Bill Lunceford and has been part of Runnin' WJ Ranch since August 2017. He's known around the barn for his mischievous side, but when it's time to work, he's incredibly patient with our riders and always rises to the occasion.

That mix of personality and patience is part of what makes him such a good fit for therapeutic riding. During a weekly session, a steady, dependable partner like Warrior can help riders build balance, focus, and confidence in the saddle.

We're also grateful to Warrior's champions, EJ & Shary Chiartano, whose generous support helps him keep making a difference every day.

Meet the herd that helps our riders grow!

Every horse at Runnin' WJ Ranch brings something different to the arena. Some have an easygoing, go-with-the-flow nature, while others have a little more personality, and each one is chosen with safety, comfort, and connection in mind.

Finding the right match can make all the difference, especially for a rider who is just getting started. A calm, steady horse can help them feel more at ease during those first few sessions, giving them room to relax and enjoy the ride.

Over the coming months, we'll be introducing our horses one at a time so you can get to know the personalities that make our herd so special.

Which horse would you like to meet next? Let us know in the comments!

We could not do this without you.

For 25 years, this Ranch has been carried by a community that shows up, from volunteers giving their time to donors giving what they can to families trusting us with their children. Every bit of independence a rider gains traces back to people like you.

As we celebrate this milestone season, we are simply grateful.

Tag someone who has supported the Ranch over the years so we can thank them today. And if you would like to be part of the next 25 years, join us at https://runninwjranch.com/.

We almost back in the saddle!

The first week of the season is always a favorite. Big smiles, a few happy nerves, horses stepping right back into their work, and riders picking up right where they left off. This season is extra special, too, because it marks 25 years of doing what we love.

We will be sharing stories, milestones, and plenty of proud moments all season long. Follow along to cheer our riders on, and learn more about the Ranch anytime at https://runninwjranch.com/
