was BUUUUSY last week!

It started in San Francisco for Bob Woodruff Foundation's first national Got Your 6 Summit. They were successful bringing together about 450 organizations from the Got Your 6 Network, in one room. We are honored to be part of the Network.

We build businesses. Most of the room builds the rest of it: housing, health care, legal aid, jobs. Same community, different pieces of the puzzle.

Action Zone has a new look but our high impact programs are the same. 💥

Activate is a 7-week business startup program for veterans, first responders, military spouses, first responder spouses, and anyone still servicing.

Saturdays, 9am–1pm ET. October 3–November 14. Onsite at 2101 E Palm Ave, Ybor City.

Program costs are covered by Veterans Florida. No cost to you. 💰

We’re headed to the 2026 Military Influencer Impact Awards — and this one is happening on our home turf! 🎉

Action Zone has been selected as one of 10 finalists, and our very own Rosie Bonfiglio Lee will be taking the stage to pitch Action Zone live at MIC right here in Tampa.

Rosie will be representing our mission and the incredible community of entrepreneurs, alumni, mentors, partners, and supporters who have helped build Action Zone into what it is today.

And because this is Tampa Bay, we want our community in the room with her.

Action Zone is an entrepreneur support organization serving Veterans, their spouses, their dependents, and first responders seeking to start a business. Our services include workshops, mentoring, short- and long-term courses.

New look. Same mission.

For 9 years Action Zone has been a partner with Veterans Florida to support military-connected entrepreneurs in the Tampa Bay region.

We are incredibly grateful for Veterans Florida’s continued partnership and for the trust they have placed in Action Zone year after year.

But what means the most to us is the opportunity this partnership creates.
For nine years, we have had the privilege of working alongside veterans, servicemembers and military spouses as they turn their experience, skills and ideas into businesses, jobs and economic opportunity.

That work sits at the heart of what we believe at Action Zone: when we invest in people who have already demonstrated leadership, resilience and a commitment to service, the impact extends far beyond the individual entrepreneur. It strengthens families, businesses and communities.
