As summer approaches, preparations are made, particularly at the Tallmadge Community Gardens. The field has been tilled and screened, stakes are in place, soon to supply the framework of fencing. But here's the good stuff... whomever mowed the border of the Community Gardens decided to take a couple laps around our wonderful little garden! Thank you to whomever decided to assist and help keep our garden looking its best! Your simple act does not go unnoticed. More to come... 🌷🪻🦋⚜️❤️

Picasso had his Blue Period, our Garden has entered its Green Period. The initial spring flowers have melted away in anticipation of the next phase of life. The perennials are coming back strong and should fill out more and more. We'll soon have some colorful additions in the raised beds to enhance the Garden's beauty even more. And the ground cover has brought its own take on colorful expressions! The milkweed has put out runners and there are new shoots all over the place, although I am gonna wrangle them in a little. So we invite you to come, rest, relax, reflect and enjoy. More to come...🪻🌷🦋⚜️❤️

Getting to be that time of year again, although we can't really complain about the lengthy summertime temps... but the cooler weather is fast approaching and the colors are starting to fade. The first full successful year in the life of our Garden means we'll see changes again soon... the plants will wither, the snow will fly and then that magical rebirth come Spring. Thank you to everyone that has helped to support this important endeavor. Family and friends alike, stay safe and stay healthy. May God bless you all. More to come... 🌷🪻🦋⚜️❤️
