As the seasons continue to progress and the colors start to fade, we're reminded that our Gardens are still host to many active insects. There's still lots to see if you look close enough. ☺️ More to come... 🌷🪻🦋⚜️❤️

A visit to the Garden this morning to meet with Shoshana Peterson to reflect and reminisce after helping with candles at Tallmadge Circle. We remember so many today, from those affected by the world's events 25 years ago, and those that would have celebrated a special day today. More to come... 🌷🪻🦋⚜️❤️

Thank you, Shoshana Peterson, for sharing the post you saw earlier this month and piquing my curiosity. Well it's officially official, we qualified as a Monarch Waystation after applying at Monarch Watch and received a certificate and a sign! We'll find a good place to mount the sign soon. Visit MonarchWatch.org for lots more insight on their history and program and the other waystations across the country. More to come...🌷🪻🦋⚜️❤️

A quick visit to the Garden today for some pruning and to replace the right side Milkweed posts with taller ones since it decided to grow nearly 7 feet tall and kept falling over. We've got lots of secondary buds appearing on the perennials so September should be even more colorful. And to my absolute joy, I saw 2 wonderful sights: first, a visitor, and she was laying more eggs! And then while propping up the milkweed, a nearly full grown caterpillar nestled in amongst the leaves. The cycle continues 🥰 More to come... 🌷🪻🦋⚜️❤️
