Greater Akron Aquarium Society

Greater Akron Aquarium Society Monthly meetings are held on the SECOND FRIDAY of the month at 8 pm, at the Ritchie Memorial Shelter Our Club was founded back in 1952!

Through the years our Club has grown and evolved into our current events. We hold our annual ULTRA AQUA All Species Fish Show, as well as 3 main Fish Auctions in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. We hold monthly Meetings, 2 of which are dedicated to annual celebration parties and we issue our Bi-monthly Tank Topics Newsletter to all our members. We are expanding our web presence with our online website AkronFishClub.com as well as our social media page and Group.

Our Next Meeting Is on Friday July 10
Don’t miss our next meeting, on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 8:00 pm at the Ritchie Memorial Shelter House, 109 West Avenue, Tallmadge, Ohio.

Our Bowl Show classes for July will be All Other New World Cichlids; Aquatic Plants; Rainbowfish; and Native Fish. We will have refreshments, a mini-auction that includes BAP/HAP submissions, and a product raffle.

Our program will be presented in person by Randy Seufert. It will be a fun time of playing a game that Randy has developed: The Price Is Right—The Fish Edition
