The class of 2026. What can be said? I’ve known this class since the fall of 2018, when I first arrived here in Tallmadge. When I see them, I see them as they are now - freshly graduated young people heading off to college, career training, or military training - but I also see them as the 5th graders filing into my classroom at Munroe Elementary.
Since then, they’ve grown up and experienced quite a bit. They’ve joined band, they’ve selected instruments, in many cases changed those selections. And they’ve persevered through set backs, schedule changes, staffing changes, and so much more. They’ve advocated for their own experience, they’ve gone above and beyond for each other and their fellow band members.
Each class who passes through our doors leaves a mark. We are so proud of each of these young people, and are so excited for all that they have accomplished and wait with anticipation for everything that they will accomplish because if their time with us is any indication, the world better buckle up. Never forget - time is our most valuable resource. SNAP!
