We want to thank everyone who came out to help us celebrate our 55th anniversary this past Saturday. It was so nice to see a lot of old friends and to be able to visit with you. We are looking forward to the Michael Shockley family entertaining us with some “picking and singing” on the porch during our reunion event. They will start around 2:00 pm or 2:30 pm. You might want to bring a lawn chair with you so you can sit in the yard and enjoy their music.

Are you planning a little outing for the Summer? Would you like to meet up with old friends and family? Then you might want to join us for a picnic celebration on July 18th at the Sylvatus Ruritan Club. Not only will we be celebrating our 55th anniversary, we would love for you to come and share your memories of all things you remember about Sylvatus.

Hotdogs plus all the fixings will be served and the club will be open from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Please bring any photos or memorabilia you would like to share with others. Joy the Clown will also be making a personal visit with us.
