Paws Rule and friends is a small group that have been rescuing “off the street” animals for decades. Over the last couple of years we have become involved in shelter reform and the state spay/neuter program. We rescue from our shelter and assist other rescues in rescuing from our shelter. We transport the animals to safety locally and for our long distance rescues . We foster animals before transp

ort to our rescues whenever space is available. The rescues that work with us are terrific and we are able to see our shelter animals move to new beginnings where they are safe and loved. When we began our journey the shelter was a 98% kill rate using gas and now adoptions and rescue are up and they have eliminated the gas chamber. But we are still in need of more great rescues!! To all Paws Rule supporters: Lita has passed away. She appreciated all the support everyone has given over the years for the support of her cats. She loved you all. We have made sure that every cat she had in her sanctuary has gotten a good home. Please keep supporting other cat sanctuaries in the memory of Lita because that's what she would have wanted.

Charlie does NOT have cancer and he is eating again. We still have others to go as they age but this covid thing has for some reason created a backlog that's insane.
