We’re excited to share that we’re launching a brand‑new High School Rec Basketball League on a trial basis—and we’d love to invite students currently in Grades 9–12 to join us!

This league is designed to be fun, relaxed, and community‑focused. It’s a great option for high schoolers who want to play basketball in a low‑pressure environment with friends. It's open to both boys and girls and we will play as one community.

League Schedule & Location
Friday Nights: Feb 6, 14, 21, 28 and Mar 7, 14
Game Times: 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM
Location: Kingsway Middle School – East Gym

League Format
Limit: 48 participants
Teams: Up to 8 players (boys and girls welcome)
Style: Playground‑style rec basketball
Everyone plays
Self‑substitutions
Self‑officiated
Game Length: 50 minutes (two 20‑minute running‑time halves)
Cost: $50 per player

Parent Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for a few parent volunteers—not to coach or referee—but simply to provide adult oversight, help guide the kids as needed, and support good sportsmanship and behavior.

About This Program
This is a recreation‑level league intended for high school–age players looking for a fun and flexible way to enjoy basketball. While we previously offered this format for non‑HS players, we’re excited to open this new trial version exclusively for current Grades 9–12 to give more kids a chance to participate.

Just a friendly reminder, we are closing registration for the Winter Youth Clinic for 1st and 2nd graders on November 4th at 11:45 PM. The clinic is at the Stratton School on Saturday morning starting Saturday December 6th through late February.

Important update to the October Calendar. Girls 7/8 Evaluations have been moved to 10/15. The school is closed on the original date due to Columbus Day. Thank you. Emails have also been sent to the 7/8 graders who are registered, and a reminder email will be sent the prior.

Last night’s Red / White summer league All Star game at the Senior Level was exciting and extremely competitive. Team Red won by 1 point on a shot by Sovereign with 2 seconds left in the game. Congratulations to Coach Melissa and the Red team! Players of the game:
