🎶 There’s just something special about seeing our community come together! 🎨

We were SO excited to have the Swanton Bands play for everyone before the Swanton Corn Festival Color Run! 🥁🎺 Their energy was the perfect way to get our runners pumped up and ready to GET COLORFUL! 🌈
One of our favorite parts of the Swanton Corn Festival is the incredible partnerships we have with local groups like the Swanton Marching Band. Our festival truly is a COMMUNITY event, and moments like this are exactly what make it so special. ❤️

Thank you to the band members, directors, families, and everyone who supports these talented students. We absolutely LOVED having you be part of the Color Run this year!

There is something incredibly powerful about this picture. ❤️

A mom running the Swanton Corn Festival 5K… with her child on her back.

Because sometimes, motherhood looks exactly like this.

It’s carrying someone else when your own legs are tired. It’s pushing forward when every part of you wants to stop. It’s putting one foot in front of the other while carrying more than anyone around you may ever realize.

Being a mom is demanding. It’s exhausting. It’s messy. It requires strength you didn’t even know you had.

But look at her.

She didn’t quit because the race got harder.
She didn’t stop because she had extra weight to carry.
She adjusted. She picked him up. And she kept going.

And maybe that’s one of the most beautiful pictures of motherhood there is.

Our children may never fully understand how many times we carried them—physically, emotionally, financially, mentally—while we were tired ourselves. They may not remember every sacrifice or every difficult mile.

But they will remember that Mom kept showing up.

To every mom carrying a little extra weight today: keep going. You are stronger than you think, and those little eyes watching you are learning what determination, love, and strength look like.

She may have been running a 5K, but she was showing her child how to finish something hard. ❤️🏃‍♀️

What a powerful reminder that motherhood doesn't make us weaker.

It shows us just how strong we really are. 💪❤️

There are simply not enough words to express how grateful I am tonight. ❤️🌽

First and foremost, THANK YOU to every single volunteer. This event could not have happened without each and every one of you. From planning, setting up, registering participants, working color stations, cheering everyone on, and cleaning up—you made tonight possible. It truly takes a village, and I am so incredibly thankful to be part of one as amazing as ours.

To our generous sponsors...thank you. I know you are asked to support countless organizations and events throughout the year, and the fact that you continue to choose us and invest in our community means more than you'll ever know. Your generosity helps create memories that families will cherish for years to come.

A special thank you to the Swanton Bands for kicking off the evening with such incredible energy! Seeing and hearing our talented students perform before the Color Run made the event even more special. Thank you to the band members and directors for taking the time to be part of our community celebration!

A huge shout-out to DJ Jerry and Vince - VC the MC You both saw the pure panic on my face when that first streak of lightning lit up the sky. Instead of letting the weather dampen the fun, you turned up the music, kept the energy high, and reminded everyone what this event is all about. Watching kids and adults alike laugh, dance, and play in the rain like they were kids again was absolutely magical.

And finally, THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support the Swanton Corn Festival Color Run. Whether you ran, walked, danced, got covered in color, or simply cheered others on, you made tonight unforgettable. I hope you had just as much fun as I did getting colorful together as a community.

🌈🌽 RAIN OR SHINE... WE'RE GETTING COLORFUL! 🌽🌈

The Swanton Corn Festival Color Run is a Rain or Shine event! A little rain can't wash away the fun—we're already planning to get covered in color anyway! 🎉

Please note that all registrations are non-refundable, regardless of the weather. Our volunteers, sponsors, entertainment, and vendors have worked incredibly hard to make this an amazing event, and we're excited to celebrate with you!

So grab your family, bring your biggest smiles, and get ready for an evening filled with color, music, foam, food, and FUN!

The countdown is on! If you're joining us for the Swanton Corn Festival 5K race day packet pickup and registration will begin at 7:00 AM on Saturday, August 8 at the registration area.

Please arrive early to allow plenty of time to check in before the race begins.
