🚨 Please Read 🚨

It is with a heavy heart that I’m announcing that Jordy’s Feline Foundation Inc. is coming to a close.

I started volunteering with cats when I was 17. From then on I jumped around with animal control, another rescue, and then my own. For those who have been following my journey forever, I appreciate the constant support!
I am heartbroken but have to focus on my health at this time. It may not be forever, but it is definitely for now.

I’m determined to place all our remaining cats with good families or other rescues I’ve worked with in the past.

We have a few cats that may be with us for life- such as Bagheera, Banana, and Crawfish, and we are committed to them. All extra donations we have received will go towards their continued care. We intend to keep our 501c3 Nonprofit Status as well as we don’t intend for this to be forever.

We are looking for other rescues to transfer our kitties to OR forever families. Adoption fees are cut in half. Everyone is vetted as usual.

I’ve spent my time in rescue mainly focusing on the neediest of cats. The hospice, elderly, overlooked, euth risks, etc. That being said, we do have a few young and healthy cats that have been ready for a while for families.

Thank you to all my fosters, our vets, our donors, the people that have shared our posts, and the cat advocates in the shelters around the state that have aided in saving cats and getting them to us. I’m forever grateful. ❤️

Please consider adopting one our our kitties. Scroll through our page and see who we have available. We currently have 10 left to place.

If you’re a rescue and can help us, all our cats will come with a donation as a thank you.

Crawfish is looking for a foster to adopt family. He was suspected to be hit by a car, had a diaphragmatic hernia (had major surgery), and is still recovering from a broken pelvis. Was brought in to an open intake shelter and we took him in from there. He’s currently on pain meds daily while he recovers.

His recovery is taking longer than expected but he’s a trooper. If placed before full recovery in another foster, we will continue to pay for the follow up and medications and needed as always. He’s a very easy cat to have around and very very friendly and chatty!

His vet is Walker Valley Vet in NY and I’d prefer him to stay there while he recovers. Once healed and adopted he can go anywhere.

Some facts:
- Definitely gay lol (him and Jordy’s cat Bojangles do nothing but snuggle)
- FIV+
- Dog Friendly
- Cat friendly
- About 6ish (estimated)
- Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped

Despite everything he has been through, he continues to be kind and sweet. He loves mealtimes and I just put his meds right in his food.

Jordy’s Feline Foundation has 13 available cats.

We have seniors, adults, and young adults.

Everyone is up to date on their vetting.

We are closed to intake and have some announcements coming up.

All adoption fees are cut in half at this time. If you are a foster OR have fostered for JFF in the past, adoption fees are completely waived.

Now is the time to adopt. We always help the neediest cats in shelters and sticky situations. With kitten season upon us, we know that many people look for kittens. My goal of this rescue was always to help the overlooked and the needy, not to just help the easy to adopt. Kittens are fun, but adult cats and the “harder to adopt” cats are so much more rewarding.

As always, thank you to everyone involved. This includes my fosters, donors, volunteers and people that share our posts. Cat rescue takes a village ❤️

If you see us tomorrow, come say hello!

We will have a slideshow of our available cats, as well as some adoptables for a short time, and lots of information and resources to share for pet owners and lovers alike.

See you tomorrow! 🌈

Our very shy girl Tessa desperately wants her own family.

Tessa is estimated to be around 13 years old. She gets along with others, but is unsure about people. She is not mean at all but prefers her own company.

She lost her owner and is shy and confused. She is starting to do okay in foster but ideally we want a forever family for her.

Tessa’s adoption fee is WAIVED for the perfect family ❤️

Our Vernon NJ foster home has 4 readily available kitties who have been waiting! Adoption fees are CUT IN HALF for the month of June for ALL of our cats! Adult cat adoption fee is $60 till the end of June only. Adoptions have been slow and we are hoping this encourages some adoptions. All our cats are fully vetted prior to being adopted.

❤️ Addie: about 1 year old. Loves to play! Good with others. Greets you at the door every time.

❤️Rafaella: a couple years old. Fiv+. So friendly. Gets along great with others. Big couch potato. LOVES people.

❤️ Farrah: Shy girl. Learning how to trust people. Really likes the cat tree and her little house. Needs a patient adopter. Gets along well with others.

❤️Panther: Panther has made a complete turnaround. From a shut down and aggressive cat where we were very concerned, she has become confident, open, and very happy! We reintroduced her to other animals and she passed with flying colors. She’s doing amazing in foster care currently. She does have boundaries and I wouldn’t place her with children but she’d do well in most environments. We are thrilled for this update.

We are currently closed to intake. We’ve had some of these cats for quite some time now, and they’re ready to go. 🙂

Please share ❤️

Also- if you need medical records for your adopted cat from us and didn’t receive any yet, we are working on catching up! We have a list as to what needs to be sent. Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience!
