Christian Equine Program offering : Youth/Children’s Coaching, Girl's Summer Camp, Equine Facilitated Groups, Able body Stockhorse lessons, & Therapeutic Riding Through using horses as a tool for examples and discussion, Grace Equine can promote the development of life skills for educational, professional, and personal goals in private and group settings. Topics cover problem solving, communicatio
n skills, personality types, and encouraging messages for spiritual growth. Therapeutic Riding - horsemanship skills are taught along with a biblical lesson while the rider participates in exercises to increase balance, core strengthening, and stretching. Games played help increase cognitive processing & problem solving. Riders both ambulatory and non-ambulatory can benefit from Therapeutic Riding by enriching their lives physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Equine Facilitated Learning - involves using horses as a tool for learning in groundwork and initiatives presenting challenges for problem solving, increase communication, and planning. Upon completion of the initiatives, families and groups are given time to debrief what occurred in their interaction with the horses and their group. Life applications, goal planning, and scriptures are discussed.
