Do to some unforeseen circumstances, the RRSS will be taking this coming up
Summer off. We do appreciate all the support from our fans. We will return in the future. If you are with a rodeo Committee and need a club to set pivots or perform. Give me a call, I can direct you to a group. Again We want to thank everyone for their support.

Hey everybody! It's that time of year again! LOOKING FOR COWGIRLS TO RIDE FOR THE 2016 SUMMER RODEO SEASON!!! The Red River Shooting Stars Drill Team is looking for quality female riders that are good team players who want to ride in quick paced rodeo drills. The RRSS are a mounted drill team who ride for the American Soldier. Practices are on Sundays (weather permitting) but are subject to change during summer. Practices are at Saint Jo, Tx. If weather is bad we have sometimes been able to have them at Montague County Cowboy Church arena. Our season lasts about 6 months out of the year. We do travel to rodeos in across Texas and Oklahoma. We do not have an age limit. Riders must be available on weekends to practice or perform as scheduled, and be able to ride at a quick speed. Horse must be at least 14.2, no studs or gaited horses, able to maneuver at a controlled lope around other horses. We are having our first practice this Sunday Jan 31st.
