They came to camp ready to compete and left with the hardware to prove it. From All-American honors and Pin It Forward recipients to two first-place finishes and the prestigious Top Banana Award, they showed everyone what Shikellamy Cheer is all about.

Their hard work, dedication, and team spirit were on full display, and their coaches have every reason to be proud. We see your hard work, admire the bond you’ve built, and can’t wait to watch you shine under the Friday night lights. Braves Nation, they’re back, they’re stronger than ever, and they’re ready for an unforgettable season.

Let’s talk about our lovely ladies!

The Shikellamy Varsity Cheerleaders left bright and early Saturday morning for UCA Cheer Camp in Pine Grove, and they are making sure everyone knows that Shikellamy Cheerleading is ready to light up the sidelines on Friday nights this fall.

A special congratulations goes out to Avery and Kennedy, who stepped up and competed in the Jump Off competition. We are also incredibly proud of Kinley, who was selected as a Pin It Forward recipient, an honor that reflects the dedication, pride, leadership, and spirit she brings to the team every day.

Throughout camp, these athletes are not only enhancing their cheerleading skills, but also building stronger bonds with their coaches and teammates. The hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm they are showing will undoubtedly make them even stronger as a squad.

Today, the Shikellamy Football & Cheer Boosters are proud to serve as a Hole Sponsor for the Alec’s Angels Foundation Golf Tournament.

Some young men leave a mark on a community that can never be erased, and Alec Litchard was one of them. Alec’s courage, strength, and positive spirit inspired not only his teammates and classmates but an entire community. Even through the toughest battles, he continued to demonstrate what it meant to be a Brave.

As a booster organization, we are honored to continue supporting the foundation that bears his name. Through events like today’s golf tournament, Alec’s legacy lives on by helping local families facing pediatric cancer and by reminding us all of the power of hope, kindness, and community.

Our football program proudly continue to honor Alec this season through our pediatric cancer awareness efforts, scholarships, and community events. His story remains woven into the fabric of Braves Nation, and his impact continues to be felt both on and off the field.

Thank you to the Alec’s Angels Foundation for all that you do, and thank you to everyone participating in today’s tournament.

Last year’s Pineknotter Basket Raffle was an incredible success thanks to the generosity of our families, friends, and community supporters. We are excited to bring it back this year, and we need your help!

We are currently seeking donations for themed baskets. Whether you would like to purchase a few items for a basket or create and donate an entire themed basket, every contribution is greatly appreciated.

If you are interested in donating, please contact Courtney Fogarty and let her know what items or basket theme you plan to contribute so we can coordinate our efforts.

All basket donations must be received no later than July 1.

The sun wasn’t the only thing hot tonight. The action on the field was just as intense as the temperature as the Braves took part in 7-on-7 competition against Southern Columbia and Upper Dauphin.

We may not see these teams during the regular season, but that didn’t make tonight any less competitive. Every rep mattered, and the intensity was on full display from start to finish.

The Braves continue to put in the work—not only showing up for turf time, but also grinding in the weight room. For those who have been committed to the process, the results are starting to show.

Success isn’t built overnight. It’s earned through countless hours of hard work, dedication, and accountability. This group is buying in, and the foundation is being laid.

Buckle up, Braves Nation. It’s shaping up to be a big season.

Join the 2026 Shikellamy Cheerleaders for our 3-Day Summer Cheer Camp!

This camp is a great opportunity for young athletes to learn cheer fundamentals, build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and make new friendships in a fun and positive environment. Participants will work alongside our varsity cheerleaders as they prepare for the upcoming season while learning cheers, motions, jumps, and sideline routines.

July 28–30, 2026
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Shikellamy Middle School
$50 per athlete

Registration includes a camp T-shirt and three evenings of instruction, encouragement, and team-building activities.

Whether your child is new to cheerleading or looking to sharpen their skills, this camp is designed to help every athlete grow and have fun.

We look forward to welcoming the next generation of Braves cheerleaders and sharing our passion for school spirit, confidence, and teamwork.

Cheerleading is about more than pom-poms and sidelines. It's about leadership, dedication, teamwork, and representing our community with pride. Your sponsorship helps provide our athletes with the equipment and accessories they need to look and perform their best throughout the season. There are never enough good things to say about Corbin Stahl. He always has a smile on his face, is ready for any challenge, and leads by example in everything he does. Corbin is the type of teammate, friend, student, and athlete who makes everyone around him better.

We are proud to congratulate Corbin Stahl on being selected as a 2026 National Student Leadership Summit Student Ambassador!

Corbin has been invited to attend the 2026 National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) National Student Leadership Summit, which will take place July 16–19, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This honor reflects Corbin's leadership, character, and commitment to excellence both in the classroom and in athletics. We couldn't be more proud to see him represent Shikellamy on the national stage.
