Sunbury Refuge

Sunbury Refuge The Refuge Youth Center, is located in Sunbury PA. We provide homework help, meals, mentorship, Fun space, and more for students in attendance!

We are a faith-based Center focused on serving youth in 6th-12th Grades in Shikellamy and surrounding Schools! HOURS of OPERATION:

Mondays 3:30-8:00pm (staff permitting)
Homework Help from 3:30-5, followed by Free Meal and Free Youth Center Time

Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:00pm
Homework Help from 3:30-4:15 followed by Free Meal
--Those attending Youth Group stay and will

be taken home between 8:30-8:45pm via Refuge Van

PLEASE NOTE - during School Year (not including vacation times), Attendance for Homework Help means students must bring or have SchoolWork to complete... Those without schoolwork will be sent home until Meal Time. Check out our Past Years in Ministry at this Link:

What an outstanding pool Monday!! ☀️These are the type of days where pictures are not enough for us to share how much enjoyment it was. Our kids had a blast from the moment we arrived. Special thanks to the Betz’s for always welcoming The Refuge into their Pool and to Sunbury Burger King for providing dinner🍔 for us. We are blessed and grateful!🏊 🏊‍♀️

We had an amazing start of our summer season with our super fun fishing activity! 🎣 🤪
Our kids had blast; with some of them putting their skills into practice right away, some others learning, and the majority paddling away their weeks worth energy on the paddle boat!

Help us congratulate Emilio! An outstanding Refuge student on his high school graduation achievement! Emilio has shown remarkable dedication this year, balancing both high school and college course work as he prepared to further his education. We are very proud of him and his accomplishments and we are blessed to call him a Refuge youth! 🎓🥳

Dear Refuge Families, get ready to ignite the summer energy. Next Monday we officially kick off our fun summer schedule. Please keep an eye out for this paper that has our summer consent form attached. These papers have been sent home with kiddos during the last few weeks! It is crucial for the consent form to be completed and returned in order for any student to participate in any summer activity! Parents or guardians are also able to come in the building during building hours to complete a form.
