Climbing higher, laughing louder, and discovering the little wonders hiding right under our feet. Watching BOPN kids navigate the woods together is a daily reminder of how much joy happens when we just let them play.

Enough tea to host every squirrel in the forest today! 🐿️☕️

At BOPN, kids get to choose their own activities every day. We load up our wagon with fun and hike together to our adventure spot! We switch things up depending on the season and the weather, so one day it is tea sets and books, and the next it is shovels, rakes, tools, or art supplies.

Paired with the infinite wonder of the woods, they get total freedom to play, create, and explore whatever sparks their interest. 🌿✨

🪵 One of our favorite BOPN activities in the forest is building stick forts. Because we leave their creations standing, the children get to return to them each morning, pick up right where they left off, and work toward a common goal as a group.

It’s also a great lesson in patience and resilience. A strong wind or a loose branch might knock a wall down overnight, but that just means getting to rebuild, problem-solve, and try again together.

If you’re trying to figure out your family's routine for the new season, we still have a few open spaces in our toddler and preschool half-day programs across most of our locations. Plus, our Toddler Connections playgroup will be running at all of our sites this fall!
