🐝 New friends buzzing into BOPN!

Our Forbes House Museum class was lucky to have a visit from a local beekeeper Itzi. The children had a wonderful time getting a hands-on look at how beekeeping works and asking all their big questions out in nature. Thank you to Itzi and our amazing Milton/Forbes House Museum teaching team: Jessica, Tiarra, Priscilla, & Marley!

Got a little climber at home?

When children naturally reach to climb outdoors, their brains are hard at work calculating distance, branch stability, and balance. It's one of the best ways for kids to build strength and learn personal risk assessment!

Did you know that watching other kids play is an important stage of toddler development?

It’s called onlooker play, and it’s a big part of what we support in our half-day Little Explorers program. By observing classmates, toddlers absorb social cues, learn how materials can be used, and build the confidence to jump in when they're ready.

Combined with running, climbing, circle time songs, and practicing everyday independence like zipping their backpacks, our mornings are filled with opportunities for growth and exploration!
