There's no better way to greet the longest day of the year than from the water.

On Sunday, June 21, you're invited to celebrate the Summer Solstice and our 80th Anniversary with a special Sunrise Paddle on the Charles River. Arrive before dawn, launch as the city awakens, and watch the sunrise over Boston from a kayak or stand-up paddleboard.

🛶Docks Open: 4:45 AM
🌅Sunrise: 5:26 AM
☀Rental: 2-hour kayak or SUP rental, $40 per person
⛵Location: Charles River Esplanade, a short walk from the Red Line

Whether you're an early bird, outdoor enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique Boston experience, this peaceful morning paddle is the perfect way to welcome summer.

🔸Our Junior Program welcomes kids from all walks of life, and some families pay as little as $1 for a summer of sailing, STEM classes, and learning on the Charles River.
🔸Universal Access Program serves hundreds of individuals each season, including veterans, individuals with visual impairments, children with developmental disabilities, adults with chronic injury or illness, and many more.

Did you know Community Boating is a nonprofit? We are a 501c3 serving the Boston area with public access to the Charles River. We believe in Sailing for All: People of all ages, abilities, and socioeconomic backgrounds have access to our programs and initiatives. Proceeds from the Kickoff Party will go to our Youth and Universal Access Programs.
