Let's Have Hope is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting displaced and vulnerable communities through education, livelihood programs, relief support, and responding to humanitarian crises. We provide children with quality learning, equip individuals with vocational skills, and help communities rebuild with dignity. As a newly founded organization, we are seeking partners, donors, and supporters to help us expand our impact. We believe in community-driven, sustainable solutions and are eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations. Supporting vulnerable households build sustainable futures 💚🐐

We’re proud to share that on 24 October 2026 we distributed goats to vulnerable households in Kutum City as part of our Livelihood Support and Vulnerable Households Empowerment Programme 🌱🤲🏾

This distribution marks an important milestone in our commitment to supporting vulnerable families, strengthening their livelihoods, and creating opportunities for sustainable income through livestock rearing and production. Each household received livestock following veterinary examinations, vaccinations, and the necessary health and technical preparations to help ensure the animals’ well-being ✨

But our commitment doesn’t end with the distribution. LHO will continue providing veterinary and technical follow-up, monitoring animal health and welfare, and supporting beneficiaries in responsible livestock management. Through the project’s revolving fund and livestock asset rotation mechanism, we aim to create opportunities for even more vulnerable households to benefit in the future 💚

Because sustainable livelihoods mean more than meeting today’s needs; it means building hope and a better future for families and communities 🌿

Getting bubbles to Sudanese children who have reached the refugee camps on the Chad border was never going to be smooth sailing.

And as promised here’s an update on our shipment that is heading out to these precious children.

Our boxes have got stuck. This happens on such a regular basis to so many of our shipments we would be surprised if things went smoothly!!

So current tracking is showing it in Cameroon. Why is it stuck? At the moment we don’t know. Again, finding out this detail is also a challenge.

But of course we are on it, and we will keep you updated the minute it is released!

In the meantime, if anyone has contacts in Cameroon who can help let us know :)

Building connections, strengthening our presence.

On 20 October, Let’s Have Hope (LHO) participated in a humanitarian coordination meeting in Kutum, North Darfur, bringing together local and international organizations to discuss the growing needs of affected communities, recent displacement from Ain Siro, and challenges in education and essential services.

The meeting was an opportunity to introduce our work, share updates on our ongoing activities in education, healthcare, livelihoods, and nutrition, and connect with other organizations working in the area.

As our work continues to grow, staying connected with the wider humanitarian community helps us better understand local needs, exchange information, and identify opportunities to reach more people in need.

Rooted in the community, growing through action.

We are just launched a new Livelihood Initiative designed to support vulnerable households through livestock-based opportunities.🩵

As part of the initiative, 50 beneficiary households were trained over 4 days on essential livestock care practices, including animal nutrition, access to clean drinking water, shelter preparation, hygiene, animal welfare, and disease prevention.

By strengthening beneficiaries’ knowledge and skills, the initiative aims to help families care for their livestock, protect their assets, and build more resilient livelihoods.

A new update on Baby Mohsen 🩵

We’re so grateful to share a hopeful update on little Mohsen, who has been receiving ongoing nutritional and health support after being diagnosed with severe acute malnutrition 🌟

Since our last update, Mohsen has made noticeable progress in both his growth and overall health. His recent follow-up showed that he is responding positively to the nutritional support and care he has been receiving, and he is gradually entering the recovery phase 🌱🤲🏾

This progress is a beautiful reminder of what consistent care, proper nutrition, and your support can make possible. But Mohsen’s journey is not over yet. He will continue receiving nutritional support and regular health and nutrition monitoring, as the whole team works together toward his full recovery 💙

We have great news!! A shipment of bubbles to Sudanese kids is finally on it’s way!!

Thanks to the wonderful team at Decolonize Sudan , we have finally found a way to begin reaching Sudanese children who have fled the war.

It has taken us months to find the right contacts, build a network and work out how to get bubbles to some of these children. We have found it incredibly difficult, and so far, getting bubbles directly into Sudan has proved impossible. This is what war does.

So this is a HUGE step for us! 🌈

These are children who have survived horrific and unimaginable violence. Children, many unaccompanied, who have lost their homes, their families, and everything that was once familiar to them. They are now living in Adré, a refugee camp in Chad, on the Sudan border camps, facing hunger, uncertainty and a completely incertain future.

Just like our little ones, they are little ones. The biggest love of their mothers and fathers lives, the bestest little sisters and brothers. Simply children who need to laugh, play, eat, make friends, go to school, be silly, and experience some of the childhood, that every child deserves, yet that war has so cruelly and unfairly taken away from them.

Today we wanted to share the very beginning of this journey with you. Over the coming days and weeks, we hope to bring you updates as the bubbles make their way to Adré and, hopefully, into the hands of the children themselves.

Thank you SO much for all your support. It is wonderful to see another shipment of bubbles on its way, especially one that has taken so much effort to make happen.

We know that bubbles are a very small thing in the face of such extraordinary suffering. But small things matter too. A little laughter, a moment of play, a chance to just be a child.

And if we can bring even a little of that to children who have been through so much, then it is absolutely worth doing.
Because every child deserves bubbles, not bombs 🫧❤️

A new workshop for sudanese children in Cairo 🩵

A couple of months ago, our team had the opportunity to collaborate with the Emergency Smile – Red Noses team to deliver a wellbeing workshop for Sudanese orphaned children in Cairo. We are truly grateful for this beautiful initiative and for everyone working to create safe spaces where children can heal, feel supported, and simply be children again ✨
