Over the past few days in Cairo we had the absolute pleasure to organize activities and events at a local orphanage hosting displaced Sudanese children 💛

This months has saw the beginning of a new project in Egypt, in support of Sudanese displaced communities living in Cairo. But it is also saw the beginning of amazing new partnerships, and a strengthen collaboration with amazing organizations, such as 🩵

This project in Cairo feels even more special, knowing that it is focused to support Sudanese children who have been displaced by the war. No one deserves to lose their childhood so brutally and violently.

LHO has arrived in Cairo 🇪🇬❤️‍🔥

Our team is currently in Cairo supporting Sudanese refugee families and children who have been displaced by the war in Sudan. Together with community schools and local partners, we are working to prepare essential supplies for children who are continuing their education despite extremely difficult circumstances.

We have now received the orders, and on Sunday will begin distribution! The distribution will support 3 Sudanese community schools, reaching 1,260 children.

Ramadan Food Basket Distribution 🌙

Over 3 consecutive days, our team on the ground successfully distributed Ramadan food baskets to 630 families in Kutum City, North Darfur.

The project supported internally displaced persons, vulnerable resident families, and persons with disabilities, in coordination with community leaders and neighborhood committees.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our partners and community leaders for their collaboration and continued trust. May this effort bring relief and hope to all beneficiary families 🩵🤲🏾

On March 4th, 2025, LHO was born ❤️‍🔥

One year later, we could never have imagined how much the situation in Sudan would change — and yet, how much it would heartbreakingly stay the same. Just like a year ago, people continue to endure unimaginable horror, while much of the international community and media remain wrapped in silence.

But in this past year, we also discovered something we never could have imagined: an incredible, unwavering community. We are truly blown away by the support we’ve received from organizations, foundations, and individuals who chose not to look away.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Thank you for believing in us, for trusting us, and for giving us the opportunity to do what truly matters.

Ramadan Food Basket Distribution | Day One 💛

The first phase of the Ramadan food basket distribution was successfully launched on Sunday, 1 March 2026, in Kutum locality. A total of 109 food baskets were distributed to 109 beneficiaries across seven neighborhoods.

The distribution will continue over the coming days to ensure all beneficiaries are reached.

We are getting ready to begin the distribution of Ramadan food baskets in Kutum City ❤️‍🔥

Our logistics team has successfully completed the packing and preparation of all Ramadan food baskets with care and dedication. All materials have been securely stored, and tomorrow we will meet with community leaders and neighborhood elders to ensure a transparent and fair selection of the most vulnerable beneficiaries.

The semifinal match brought together Al-Salama Neighborhood Team and Kassab Camp Team, reflecting strong sportsmanship and community spirit.
