We're thrilled to acknowledge the North Palm Beach Rowing club, its board, and boatman for their exceptional generosity, which will significantly boost our club's growth in Lake Ida. The donated equipment, including two concept 2 rowers, two used watertight repair singles, a repair double, and oars, will be instrumental in propelling us forward. It was a productive early morning at the Delray Beach Rowing Club on Lake Ida. Andres is returning to rowing and will be joining the University of South Florida as a student and a member of the Tampa location students rowing club. He went out in singles with Coach Rodrigo Banegas to refine his technique and improve his fitness in preparation for his university journey.

Honored to welcome our first-ever VA rowing class to the Delray Beach Rowing Club! 🇺🇸🛶

Rowing is all about synchronization, resilience, and moving forward together as one crew values that our veterans know better than anyone. It is an absolute privilege to host this group and share the rhythm of the water with them. ⚓⚓

This class represents exactly why we are building this club: to create a space of connection, strength, and opportunity for everyone in our community.

Thank you to the Veterans Administration and to our founders Rodrigo and Dan who helped make this first session a success. This is just the beginning of an incredible partnership.

The progress at the boathouse doesn't stop! A massive shoutout and congratulations to our founders, Dan Kiggins and Rodrigo Banegas, who rolled up their sleeves to fabricate our very first boat racks. 🛠️💪

Thanks to their hard work, our boats are now safely resting in their racks.

Every single step brings us closer to opening our doors to the Delray Beach community.

Last week we shared the cleanup, but this week is about safety. We just installed massive supports to save a roof that was near collapse.

We are turning this abandoned space into a boathouse, one step at a time. Today was all about a deep clean, using high-pressure water to get the interior ready for the next stage of the project.

It’s a lot of work, but we’re making it happen for the community.
