Meet Buster Perez. He is speckled with freckles and quite handsome! He is shy at first but warms up quickly. He is scared in the shelter and will blossom in a home where he feels safe. He loves being close to people and will lean in and even offer a few kisses. He will gently roll over and lay near you enjoying pets and attention. He has participated in play group and appears dog friendly.

Buster Perez was surrendered due to the landlord. The owner described him as friendly, playful and shy. Sadly, he was kept as a backyard only dog. He lived with children ages 1-5 years old and said he was gentle with them. He also lived with a small dog.

Buster Perez is a sweet, gentle dog that just wants to be loved.

**RESCUE ONLY (Dog was easily over aroused in kennel, multiple staff have reported observing aggressive behavior to behaviorist, when approaching initially dog was neutral and relaxed when leashed dog became overaroused attempted to push out kennel door and snapped at hand when assessessing handling. Required defensively handling to leave kennel snapped at hand again when attempting to remove leash and then became barrier reactive lunging and biting bars.)**
