The MomCo at TC3

The MomCo at TC3 MOMCo @ TC3 is a mom's group for support, encouragement and friendship with other moms. Let's do life together! Childcare is provided! We’ve got answers! Yes!

We meet on Wednesday mornings for playdates & group meetings, in addition to monthly moms nights! The goal of MOPS at TC3 is to help you be the best mom you can be! Our group is compiled of moms with children of all ages, combining both MOPS (Moms of Pre-Schoolers, ages 0-5) and MomsNext (Moms of school-aged children). MOPS @ TC3 meets the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Wednesdays September through May from 9:

30 - 11:30 AM. Meetings consist of hot breakfast and coffee, small group time with your table, guest speakers and sometimes games or crafts! We have playdates the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays throughout the year. MOPS FAQ — You’ve got questions? My child is not in Preschool, can I still come to MOPS? Our MOPS group serves mamas who are pregnant through those with kindergarteners. We also have a MomsNext table for those with older children in K - 12th grade. We also have a Homeschool room this year. What are the meetings like? Enjoy hot coffee and a full breakfast spread as you catch up with other moms. Then settle down at your assigned table for an icebreaker game and a morning devotional — typically related to parenting or other self-improvement topics. We often have guest speakers on various uplifting topics related to parenting, as well as craft meetings, or the occasional service project. What is the childcare like? Children younger than 6 months are welcome to stay with their mothers during the meeting. Childcare is provided for 6 months+ by our wonderful team of background-checked sitters. The children are separated into classes by age, including a homeschool room for children over Kindergarten age. The children do crafts and have their own curriculum, so they're learning and growing as well! What type of playdates and mom's nights do you do? Playdates are targeted towards fun activities for the little ones such as playground meetups, tours of fun local establishments (eco centers, police stations, etc), gymnastics, fountains or pool in the hotter months, and more. Our mom's nights are usually places where we can socialize and have fun — dinners out, bowling, trivia night, game nights, etc. Do I have to come all the time? There is no REQUIREMENT to attend each meeting. But, we hope that you will WANT to come each time for the information, activities and chances to make new friends. However, if there is a waitlist for childcare spots and you are not able to make many meetings, we may ask that you give your childcare spot up to someone who is able to attend regularly. I have heard MOPS is faith based. Do I need to know a lot about the Bible to attend? MOPS is a faith based organization, but you do not need to be of faith to attend! We begin our meetings with a short devotion, discussion questions, and prayer. Devotions and discussion questions pertain to motherhood, and are designed to benefit all of our Moms no matter their Biblical knowledge level. Where can I get more information about MOPS? We'd love to chat with you over messenger or in email. Shoot us a message here or reach out at [email protected]
