We tried to capture as many pictures as we could during our Career Pathways closing ceremony! Year after year, union members from across the shop take on an intern for eight weeks, during which the interns get prepared for both a career in manufacturing and are introduced to a union career. Thank you to all mentors for preparing the next generation of Teamsters.

TWC Gives Back!

Our Teamsters Women’s Committee held a bake sale at the Local’s May Membership Meeting to support a classroom in need. Thanks to everyone who supported us, we were able to fulfill almost the entire classroom wish list! ✏️🍎

We’re proud to give back and help make this school year a little brighter! 💙

Last Thursday night was a fantastic night, celebrating the accomplishments of all our interns who took part in the Career Pathways program for the past two years. Today, many of those interns will be walking into the shop as full-time employees with a career ahead of them.

Last night we celebrated another successful year of the Teamsters 1150/Sikorsky Career Pathways Program! Congratulations to all the seniors that have accepted full time job offers to bectome full members of Teamsters 1150 Union. Thank you to all the coordinators and mentors who made this such an amazing year. We will have more pictures from the night coming soon!

Over the weekend, members of Teamsters Local 1150 attended the Teamsters National Black Caucus Educational Conference in New Orleans. The Teamsters National Black Caucus of Teamsters 1150 is one of our many active caucuses that you can join today!

This past weekend, active and retired members of Teamsters Local 1150 attended the 12th annual Step Up For the Brave event at Sacred Heart University. They participated in a 90 minute walking challenge to benefit the Home For the Brave Foundation, which supports veterans in need.
