We wrapped up the final day of the International Teamsters Women’s Conference with a morning breakfast alongside our Joint Council and a full day of learning, giving back, and celebrating the strength of women in our union. ❤️

We toured the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Headquarters, learning more about our union’s history, attended classes on knowing our rights and understanding our contracts, and donated toys, books, stuffed animals, and crafts on behalf of our Local to children in local hospitals. 🧸📚

We closed out the Conference with powerful panels highlighting women leading on strike lines and breaking barriers in non-traditional trades, including truck driving, pipeline work, and waste management.

Three days of education, empowerment, solidarity, and sisterhood. Proud to be Teamsters! ✊💪

Day two was filled with powerful conversations on women leading change in the workforce, women’s empowerment, the future generation of Teamsters, and the importance of safety and PPE in the workplace!

We wrapped up the day with bingo, coming together while supporting the Teamsters Disaster Relief Fund.

Another incredible day of learning, connecting, and empowering Teamsters women!💙💛

Day One of the International Teamsters Women’s Conference is officially underway! ❤️

Today, more than 1,500 Teamster women from locals and Joint Councils across the country came together in Washington, D.C. We visited the Teamster Archives, explored the city, and kicked off the conference with an incredible opening ceremony.

We heard empowering words from our Teamster leaders and fellow Teamster sisters, shared ideas, and learned more about how we can stand together in the fight to pass the Delivery Protection Act.

One day down, and so much more to come!✊🏼❤️💪🏼

The Teamsters Local 1150 Women’s Committee had the privilege of giving back to our community through a donation to the HopeLine Pregnancy Resource Center in Bridgeport. 💗

We are proud to support an organization that provides resources, support, and essential items to mothers, babies, and families in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today’s donation possible. From collecting and purchasing much-needed supplies to delivering them together, this was truly a team effort. ❤️

The Women’s Committee is committed to continuing to serve, support, and make a difference in the communities around us.

Together, we can make an impact!!!!
