That’s all folks! It was a great season, but Strafford Swamp Stompers Snowmobile Club trails are now closed! 🫠

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of our club members for their support & donations, local land owners for their continued generosity, and the surrounding Southern NH snowmobiling community in general… we can’t say it enough, so we’ll say it again: THANK YOU!!! 🙏

Club volunteers will be hard at work in the coming weeks picking up trail signs, closing gates and putting it all away... So if you’re interested in helping (now or next season), please come to our meeting!

March Club Meeting is this Thursday 3/12 7pm The Jefferson - come by and see what we have planned!

Shawn and Andy (thanks guys!) took the Blazer out last night and groomed the wide portion of 17A on Evans Mountain including the trail down to Bow Lake and then back towards Barnstead turning around at Evans Rd. Our trail system has held up very, very well! We still have a killer base, but the days are getting longer and temps are getting warmer… Get out and ride while you still can! 😎

Meeting reminder 🗓️ next Thursday 3/12 7pm at The Jefferson. We will have 🍕 from 7 C’s Kitchen & Market so come hungry… stop by and see what we are working on for next season!

🚨 Important trail update! 🚨

The road crossing at RT 126 from Pig Lane has been changed a little bit (at the land owner’s request) to minimize sled traffic damage to the driveway. (See Red arrow on the map.)

Please be sure to follow the signs and stay to the right of the driveway on the marked path!

Watch for Groomers! 👀 🚨

Don P and Don C took Skandics out earlier today and groomed a portion of Corridor 17A… This recent storm filled up the Strafford trails very nicely with fresh snow! ❄️

Shawn B is out tonight in the Chevy Blazer continuing the 17A grooming operation. The Blazer allows us to groom the deeper snow pack and drifts up on Evans Mountain more efficiently by pulling a larger drag. 💪

Huge thanks to these 3 gentlemen today (and all of our other active groomer operators this year: Ken K, Bill M, Mike H, Mike S) for donating their time and effort in keeping the Strafford trails rideable! 🙏

State of NH Trails Bureau Groomer Rodeo is today... check the flier for more details! (Please note that although this event is open to the public, it's geared more for snowmobile groomer operators.)

This Friday - February 20 from 9AM-3PM there is a Groomer Rodeo in White Lake State Park that is being hosted by our New Hampshire Bureau of Trails. This is a great opportunity to try out various different types of grooming vehicles and implements.
