We are the union that represents all 59 Strafford (NH) School teachers (including guidance counselors and our librarian), nurses, and paraprofessionals. We have a long, proud history dating back to 1982 when we held an election and became the legal representative of our teachers and nurses. In 2005, teachers, nurses, and paraprofessionals voted to incorporate paraprofessionals into our association

The recognition and acceptance of individual differences within an environment of respect and understanding is the foundation of the Strafford School Philosophy. A partnership between school, staff, parents, and the community is encouraged in an ongoing effort to meet the specific needs and provide opportunities for the social, emotional, physical, and academic development of all children. Strafford School strives to create a successful and positive school experience for each child and maintains high expectations for behavior and performance.
