Together, we explored what it looks like to see this vision take root and multiply. We are grateful to be connected to what is unfolding as God works in this region!

Anything’s Possible! 🌟

That was the theme of this year’s briefing & fundraising event. It was the reminder that we have seen what seemed impossible, made possible by God!
Remote peoples are hearing about Jesus for the first time, and the global Deaf are gaining access through visual stories in VV (Visual Vernacular).
Hallelujah, what a time to be alive!

“A 96-year-old woman received a (Torch) Audio Bible in her own language and, for the first time, was able to hear the Word of God clearly. As her family gathered around, they listened together and responded to the gospel.”

It’s hard to imagine waiting 96 years to hear that Jesus loves you and speaks your language.

“He got his whole world disrupted by the faith of Deaf people.”

In this Renew Select, we talk about how this Deaf community’s faith impacted the life of a young man; showing that the Gospel is truly God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes (Rom 1:16).

“I didn’t know who Jesus was, but my soul recognized its creator.”

This is what Idris (a former muslim from the Caucasus region) told us after meeting Jesus in a dream.The night before Jesus appeared to him, Idris had decided with some friends that they were going to rob an armed bank truck full of money, a crime that probably would’ve cost him his life.

“I immediately bowed down when I saw Him, I didn’t know who Jesus was, but my soul recognized its creator.” Idris recalls.

The dream continues with Jesus showing Idris his entire life and every time that he spared him from death. Then Jesus said, “I love you Idris, follow me.” Idris told us how he knew that this love was different. Jesus loved him despite what he was planning to do.

Idris gave his life to Jesus that night. He is now planting churches all over the Caucasus region and into neighboring nations.

Please pray with us that every tribe, tongue, and nation would encounter the love of God.

“He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish.”
John 21:6 ESV

We recently received this image of a SE Asian Bible translator who is also a fisherman. The smile on his face was evidence of a good catch.

Zooming in we saw what he was holding, a Torch Audio Bible. A tool that we hope helps him in the other kind of fishing… fishing for men.

Pray with us that Gods Word would be available throughout all of South East Asia.

Jesus said that we should ask, and keep on asking, seek and keep on seeking… But how do we apply this truth to how we’re following Him?

It seems we’ve been so distracted with finding „what” we’re supposed to do, that we’ve forgotten to just run hard, with perseverance, after the things we know God loves.
