🩵 INTERNATIONAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY 🩵

Not sure if someone is experiencing an opioid overdose? Your quick response could save a life.

Look for:
• Can’t wake up or respond
• Slow or shallow breathing
• Gurgling, choking, or unusual snoring
• Blue or discolored lips or fingernails
• Pinpoint pupils

If you suspect an overdose:
• Give naloxone (Narcan)
• Call 911
• Place them on their side
• Stay with them until help arrives

Today and every day, let’s remember those we’ve lost, support those impacted, and make sure our communities have the tools to respond.

Know the signs. Carry naloxone. Be ready to respond. 🩵
