✨ HAPPY TAILS! ✨

From shelter pup to captain of the lake, Sierra is officially living the dream! 🐾⛵️

We are thrilled to share that this sweet, full-of-life girl has found her absolute perfect forever home. Sierra hit the jackpot with her new family—her parents are both retired, which means her days are now filled with endless attention, non-stop belly rubs, and all the love she could ever ask for.

She even celebrated her adoption with some lake days! As you can see, she's a natural on the water and loving that vacation vibe: Sun-kissed fur and lake life blur! ☀️🚤💦

Here’s to Sierra and her forever crew—have the best time making waves together! ❤️

If you think senior dogs only want to sleep all day, you haven't met George yet! He might be a distinguished senior and one of our cherished long-term residents, but don't let the gray muzzle fool you—George is a ball fanatic through and through! 🎾

His absolute favorite pastime in the world is chasing that ball. Even though he has slowed down a bit with age, the moment it is thrown, his inner puppy completely takes over. George proves that age is just a number when you have a favorite toy to chase!

🐾 Oscar Update!!! 🐾

Look at this handsome boy! 🥹💙 It’s been 10 weeks since Oscar was pulled from the shelter, and he’s gained over 14.5 pounds! We’re so happy to see him thriving and looking healthier every day. 🐶✨

Fall is here, and Bo is still searching for his forever home! 🍂🧡 This energetic, people-loving boy is house trained, shows no resource guarding, and would love a doggie buddy to romp around the yard with. Because of his enthusiasm for chasing chickens, he'd do best in a home without cats.

Bo's ideal home:
🐾 Fenced yard
🐾 A friendly dog buddy
🐾 Kids, older preferred (he's a bouncy boy!)
🐾 A family that's home more often than not

Wouldn't it be nice to spend the cozy season with a happy-go-lucky guy like Bo?

🐾 SPECIAL NEEDS SPOTLIGHT: Lessons in Living from Barney 🐾

They say that younger pups teach us how to run, but some dogs teach us how to slow down and appreciate the view. 🍁

Our handsome long-timer Barney is a masterclass in resilience. No matter what his past looked like, he greets each day ready to soak up the sun and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the grass.

Barney takes life at his own pace these days. A past stroke left him with a few lasting quirks—he lives happily in his own little world, marching entirely to the beat of his own drum! He can be unapologetically stubborn, but his eccentric, unbothered nature is exactly why his foster family adores him so much.

To keep his brave ticker strong, Barney relies on daily heart medications. We are committed to making sure our special-needs and senior dogs stay comfortable and pain-free. Our September Senior Challenge ensures we always have the resources ready for their daily prescriptions and veterinary care.

🔥 BEST OF ALL, your gift today will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000! Thanks to a generous donor, your impact will double to help special-needs dogs like Barney.

If you think a quiet world means a lonely one, you haven't met Polka yet! At 9 years young, Polka navigates life a little differently. Because she is deaf, she lives in a quiet reality—but she is never alone. She gracefully follows the gentle cues of her trusted doggie companion to understand what is happening around her.

Her past life left her a little hesitant and uneasy with the world, but with boundless patience and love, Polka has learned what it means to truly trust. She reminds us every day that courage can be found in the quietest souls.

Because Polka is a cherished member of our rescue family, we are committed to keeping her golden years safe, comfortable, and full of gentle reassurance. Our September Senior Challenge ensures we have the vital funds ready for her ongoing care, medications, and unexpected medical needs—just like her upcoming teeth extraction procedure.
