Time for a change of scenery! We've hosted the last several Good Dads Training Camp events here at our headquarters in Springfield, but we're giving some special attention to our chapters and fatherhood leaders in the central part of the state by offering our next Training at the Love Columbia offices!

All week starting July 13 you'll learn everything you need to know to effectively lead a Good Dads class for our "Forge" program: That means best practices for serving fathers, how to mentor a class, resources and so much more. Choose to attend training for "Good Dads 2.0," "Within My Reach" or both!

The face of a man who spent two days on a ladder to hang our giant Route 66 banner just right! 🤣 Now our administrative offices are perfectly decorated for the festivities happening at the end of April and beginning of May. Thanks, Paul!

Bummer! If you were eyeballing our March Training Camp for Prep 8.0 and Fundamentals for Good Dads, we're unfortunately needing to reschedule! We're using the time in the interim to reorganize because we want everything to be just right for our facilitators.

But don't worry! Another training camp opportunity will be on the books soon, possibly in the beginning of May. Keep an eye on our social media for announcements, and stay in touch with all Good Dads announcements by subscribing to the weekly e-newsletter. When dads are equipped, encouraged, and supported — everyone benefits. That impact is real in El Dorado Springs, Stockton, and throughout our county every single day.
We are grateful for leaders who are helping share this mission and for every effort to make responsible fatherhood a priority. Strong dads build strong families — and strong communities.

A trip for the history books! 🏛️

Last week members of the Good Dads staff and board visited the state capitol building to meet with elected members of our legislature. We shared the story of Good Dads and are grateful for the chance to educate our senators/representatives about the outcomes of our work.

By showing the number of dads we've served and the dollars those good dads paid to their child support cases, we made the case for why it pays to invest in responsible fatherhood!
