Think 4-H is just about animals? Think again!
From robotics and photography to arts, crafts, and outdoor adventures, 4-H has hands-on projects for every spark and interest.

Who Can Join?

• Clover Kids: Ages 5–7
• 4-H Members: Ages 8–18 (age calculated as of December 31)
• Open to public school, private school, and homeschool youth!

Here is a list of available projects. There is a 4-h Clover magazine that can be picked up the extension office and will also be available at the next Stockton Seekers monthly meeting November 3.

Our monthly meeting will be Tuesday, October 6th at Zumwalt Expo Center(where the county fair is held) 6:30 pm.

Thought you guys might want to see this. Some of you might know Judd.

The Missouri State Fair Grand Champion Pen of Chickens was exhibited by Judd Lawson of Schell City. Judd is the son of Bob and Susan Lawson and is a member of the Osage River 4-H Club.
The Reserve Grand Champion Pen of Chickens was exhibited by Laynee Morgan of Goodman. Laynee is the daughter of Chris and Danetta Morgan and is a member of the Neosho FFA Chapter.
On Aug. 22, Judd and Laynee will sell their Pen of Chickens in the Missouri State Fair Sale of Champions. Proceeds from the sale benefit both the winning exhibitors and the Missouri State Fair Youth in Agriculture (YIA) Scholarship Program.

History was made at the first ever Turkey Show at the Missouri State Fair!
A huge congratulations to Hazel Hawks for taking home BOTH Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion! What an incredible way to kick off this new show!

While Market Turkeys are not currently included in the Missouri State Fair Sale of Champions Auction, Fair officials and Youth in Agriculture leaders are exploring opportunities to expand support and recognition for Missouri's outstanding market turkey exhibitors in the future.

Just letting everyone know our next meeting will be August 7 @ 6 pm at the first beach Stockton Lake.
Please bring a side and dessert to share.
We will have a short meeting and then let everyone swim and have fun! So plan accordingly.
