Class of 2026 livestock exhibitors: Be recognized for your hard work and dedication! (June 10 deadline!)🎓🐄

The Missouri State Fair is offering Senior Banners to celebrate and honor 2026 high school seniors involved in livestock projects. Banners will be displayed during the Fair as a tribute to your accomplishments and commitment to the livestock industry.

📢 Vernon County 4-H STEM Days Update

Unfortunately, due to low enrollment, our scheduled STEM Days sessions will be canceled. While we're disappointed we won't get to explore science, technology, engineering, and math together this summer, we appreciate everyone's interest and support.

The good news is that we plan to offer these hands-on STEM opportunities again this fall! Stay tuned for future dates and registration information.

Thank you for supporting Vernon County 4-H. We look forward to seeing you at upcoming programs and events!

🚀 Get ready for hands-on learning and summer fun with Vernon County 4-H STEM Days!

Youth are invited to join us for exciting STEM activities designed just for their grade level. Each session will be packed with interactive learning, creativity, and fun!

Location: Centennial Hall at the Vernon County Fairgrounds
Time: 9:30am–11:30am
Cost: $12 per youth
Space is limited, so register early!

STEM Day Schedule:
• June 2 — Grades K–2
• June 9 — Grades 3–4
• June 12 — Grades 5–6

Happy World Bee Day! 🐝🌼

Congratulations to Autumn Capeder of the Lucky Clover Valley 4-H Club for being selected to represent Missouri in the national 4-H Beekeeping Essay Contest sponsored by the Foundation for the Preservation of Honeybees.

Autumn’s essay, “Bees and Pollen,” shares the important relationship between bees, pollen, and the environment while highlighting the role pollinators play in providing food, flowers, and clean air. Her essay was selected as Missouri’s entry for the national competition, recognizing her hard work and curiosity in learning about pollinators and agriculture.

Way to go, Autumn, and best wishes in the national contest! 🐝
