Junior League of San Joaquin County

Junior League of San Joaquin County is an organization of women who are dedicated to making a difference in the communities in which they live.

Junior League of San Joaquin County was originally founded in 1927 as Junior Auxiliary. In 1928 Junior Auxiliary changed its name to Junior Aid of Stockton. In 2005 Junior Aid began the affiliation process with the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) which includes over 294 Junior Leagues, located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Great Britain. The Association has a

collective membership of more than 170,000 women. Affiliation with AJLI was completed in April of 2009 and Junior Aid of Stockton became Junior League of San Joaquin County.

Such a wonderfully successful event with ~250 guests at our Junior League of SJC womens group fundraiser, “ Boots & Bubbly”!! So, so thankful for all of the sponsors and wonderful JLSJC hard working women volunteers. We raised a lot of money to help empower women in leadership, inspire volunteerism, and expand opportunities for our underserved communities throughout our region. Junior League of San Joaquin County had a beautiful evening gathering at House of Shaw for our April general membership meeting—grateful for a night filled with connection, purpose, and a shared passion for serving our community. ✨

As we look ahead, we’re especially excited to be preparing for a milestone year—our 100th anniversary! 🎉 It’s an incredible time to be part of Junior League as we plan meaningful ways to celebrate our legacy and continue making an impact in San Joaquin County.

We’re also gearing up for Boots & Bubbly—our signature fundraiser—and can’t wait to bring the community together for a night that supports the work we care so deeply about. 🥂

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to invite you to join us. Junior League is a place to grow, lead, build lasting friendships, and truly make a difference right here in San Joaquin County.

Junior League of San Joaquin County was recognized by Stockton Unified School District as exceptional volunteers at their award ceremony at Stockton Golf and Country Club, Friday, April 24, 2026. It was a lovely evening surrounded by amazing dedicated educators and volunteers. Thank you Taylor Leadership Academy for your nomination and for the award! The members of Junior League of SJC witnessed the joy that your young students exuded when they picked out clothes from the clothes closet, and received gifts they otherwise would not have enjoyed during the holidays. Our favorite gift request was the “orange soda.” We also see how the much needed supplies and equipment for the Autistic SPED classes have energized the teachers and students. We are proud to partner with Taylor Leadership Academy.
