22 GIRLS TODAY!!!! They received She Rises Mugs filled with candy & Affirmation charms and a positive note! The girls battled in Rock Paper Scissors tonight with affirmation style tonight! The Girl who lost say in the chair while the girl who one complimented her as she got up and then went along side her and motivated her to try and win!! They were all so appreciative of the mugs & LOVED THEM!

She Rises is BACK Indian Creek Middle School with Sycamore Stars (17 girls today)!! Jerica Brown was so happy to see familiar faces return. The girls expressed how they’re feeling about school, what they worry about and a huge milestone for some today! Suicidal discussion was a big topic today & we clapped for a few girls who’ve come out of their dark places. Thank you to the girls for trusting in Ms. Jerica and being able to easily express themselves today. For some of the girls it was their very first class and they could not wait to open up! It’s an honor to be able to be there for them, truly is!

Today was such an honor 💛

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to recognize the incredibly brave children fighting battles no child should ever have to face, and the families walking beside them through an unimaginable fear. The appointments. The treatment. Waiting for a hopeful moment, or a miracle.

Today, She Rises had the opportunity to deliver the toys collected from “Crown Their Courage” to Akron Children’s Hospital with one simple hope in mind: To Bring a SMILE to Every Child who will receive one of these toys!

THANK YOU from the bottom of MY HEART to EVERYONE who DONATED, SUPPORTED, SHARED, and HELPED SHE RISES make this possible. Every toy represents someone choosing to care and reminding a child and their family that they are not alone. They matter, always!

We may not be able to take away their pain, what they are facing, but we can show up with love, kindness, and a little extra light and prayer for kids. 💛

So grateful to everyone who helped She Rises do that today. 🫶🏽💕💞👑

Please say a little extra prayer for all the children who are battling for their lives when they really deserve to just be kids. ♥️
