📢 Nuristan Flood Relief Update
Alhamdulillah, and by the grace of Allah, we are pleased to share an update on our emergency relief efforts for the flood victims in Nuristan.
Thanks to your generous support and compassionate donations, The Children of War (TCOW) has been able to assist 102 families affected by this devastating disaster. This includes:
• 24 families who lost their loved ones.
• 78 families who lost their homes and small businesses.
• Flood protection wall or small flood-control dam in Takhar Province, Afghanistan, designed to withstand strong water pressure and help protect vulnerable communities, homes, agricultural land, and infrastructure from seasonal flooding. The structure will be engineered and constructed to provide greater resistance against heavy water flow and reduce the risk of future flood damage to the surrounding community.
Your generosity has brought hope and relief to families during one of the most difficult times of their lives. While much work remains to be done, we are committed to continuing our support for those affected by the floods.
On behalf of the families of Nuristan and everyone at The Children of War, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your kindness, trust, and generosity.
May Allah accept your charity, multiply your rewards, and bless you and your loved ones. Ameen. 🤲💙

**💧 Emergency Clean Water Appeal – Kabul, Afghanistan**

Dear Friends,

Kabul is currently facing a severe water crisis. Many vulnerable families, especially those living in the high mountainous areas surrounding the city and in densely populated neighborhoods such as West Kabul (Dasht-e-Barchi), are struggling every day to find safe drinking water.

The recent extreme heat has made access to clean water even more difficult. Many children are forced to carry heavy containers of water over long distances and steep hills just to provide enough water for their families.

In response to this urgent need, **The Children of War (TCOW)** has launched an emergency **Clean Water Distribution Project**. We have started in the **Koh-e Chehel Dokhtaran** area of Dasht-e-Barchi, Kabul, where we purchase clean drinking water and distribute it using small water tankers.

Currently, we provide clean water **twice a day, two days each week** to families in need. As resources become available, we hope to expand this life-saving project to reach more communities.

Every contribution helps provide clean, safe drinking water to families facing this crisis.

If you would like to support this emergency water project or learn more, please contact us. Together, we can bring relief and hope to those who need it most.
