The Treasure Hound is owned and operated by Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA), a nonprofit animal shelter, to support our mission to save the lives of homeless cats and dogs. homeless cats and dogs. We offer a curated selection of beautiful, high-quality items—both new and gently used—including artwork, fine jewelry, clothing, home décor, music, movies, and so much more. Thanks to generous donations and a dedicated team of limited staff and volunteers, we keep our overhead low and make a meaningful financial impact on FOHA's life saving work. Every ring of our register helps fund urgent medical care, food, and supplies for animals in need—from heartworm treatments and orthopedic surgeries to milk supplement for orphaned kittens. And don’t forget—we gratefully accept your donated treasures (they may be tax-deductible!), and pets are welcome—as long as they keep their humans on leash!

Not every cat and kitten I’ve met wanted to be my friend, which hurt my feelings (I’m a very sensitive fellow). I love playing, exploring, and checking in regularly with my person. This is Gypsy, a 2-year-old, 8lb female domestic shorthair! She’s a beautiful young girl who has a lovely temperament. She’s quite friendly and loves to be with people, getting affection and pets while she snuggles up with them. She also does quite well when left on her own when her people are at work.
