Gather your crew, decorate your float, and join the fun. The parade steps off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, in Rock Falls and makes its way to Sterling.

Sauk Valley Young Creators camp prepped their business pitches today with help from special guests - former CEO students!

The middle school campers got great insight, tweaked their pitches, and learned about the CEO Program to continue their entrepreneurship journey.

They are almost ready for the Sauk Valley Young Creators pop up on Saturday, July 11 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Grandon Civic Center. Mark your calendars and get ready to come check out cookies, dirty sodas, coffee syrup, crochet animals, stickers, blind date with a book, and more!

Sauk Valley Young Creators Camp is already halfway through their summer camp! Area middle school students have been hard at work learning about entrepreneurship and building business plans to prepare for their launch on July 11 at Chalk the Walk!

So far, students have had the opportunity to learn from Sarah, Amber + Smoke; Karter, Livengood’s Aerial Imaging; Adrian, Blue Street Bagels; Grace, Stone Bridge Running; and Claudia, HALO Branded. A big thanks to our local leaders for spending time helping the middle school students plan out their businesses!

📚Dolly's Book Bash is back and will be held on Thursday, June 25, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rock Falls Public Library. This free family event celebrates the joy of reading and the children served through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Whiteside County.
