~Meet (Some of) Your Local Pollinators~
Pollinators are all around us โ and many of them are working quietly behind the scenes. ๐๐ธ
When we think of pollinators, honey bees often come to mind, but Oregon is home to hundreds of native bee species, along with butterflies, moths, beetles, hummingbirds, and other important pollinators.
These species support biodiversity by helping plants reproduce, strengthening native plant communities, and contributing to healthy habitats across our region.
At Marion SWCD, we work with landowners, communities, and partners to support conservation practices that improve habitat, protect natural resources, and create healthier landscapes โ for people, plants, wildlife, and pollinators.
This Pollinator Week, take a moment to notice the pollinators in your own backyard, neighborhood, or local greenspace. ๐ฟ
