🫎Promoting teamwork, harmony, and goodwill is at the heart of what it means to be a Moose member.
But those values don’t happen on their own—they happen when members step forward, pitch in, and support the Lodge THAT SUPPORTS THEM.
Right now, we are facing a large challenge. Many of our events, meals, and daily operations rely on a very small group of FIVE volunteers who are giving everything they have. Meanwhile, others enjoy the benefits of the Lodge—meals, activities, and yes, inexpensive drinks—without contributing time or effort to keep this place running. We have 130 members, but less than 10 are helping on a regular basis.
A Lodge cannot thrive on spectators. It thrives on participants.
We need members who are willing to:
• Help in the kitchen
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep
• Most importantly, obtain their OLCC permit so we have enough trained bartenders to keep the Social Quarters open.
If you enjoy the Lodge, if you value what it provides, if you want it to stay strong and open—we need you to step up. Even one shift a month makes a difference.
Volunteering isn’t just work—it’s connection, pride, and being part of something bigger. When we all contribute, even in small ways, the entire Lodge becomes stronger, happier, and more welcoming.
Let’s bring back the spirit of teamwork that defines us. Let’s show what it truly means to be a Moose.
Thank you for being part of our Moose family. If you’re willing to help, or even just curious, please reach out. We’d love to have you be involved.
Thank you,
