Our new community partner, George Trivett, owner of Acme Metal already in action. A single mom of 2 received two twin frames for her teen children’s beds! RRM delivered and our friends Josh and Amanda assembled onsite. The family is so happy! Grateful for all our partners!!

$68,260. Still climbing. 🚤💙

This past weekend, dozens of boats hit the water and approximately 240 people showed up — boaters, business owners, sponsors, sober living residents, partners, and community members — all united around one mission: making sure addiction doesn't get the last word.

That number isn't just impressive. It's lifesaving. It's the bus ticket purchased the same afternoon someone says yes to treatment. The entry fee paid before they change their mind. The work boots, the first month's rent, the phone call that actually gets answered.

Here's what makes this funding different: it works in the spaces between systems — between the agencies, the silos, the red tape — where the barriers that stop people from getting help actually live. When someone is ready, we don't wait for approvals that are probably getting denied anyway. We move. Fast. With compassion. Because that window doesn't stay open forever.

Huge gratitude to our partners who get that — Iredell EMS Community Response Team, Partners Health Management, Mooresville Christian Mission, Probation & Parole, and so many others who have stopped protecting their lane and started working toward the same goal.

To Kurt, Misty, and the entire Binks Addiction Awareness family — you have turned unimaginable grief into something that is genuinely changing our community. Travis' legacy is alive in every person who finds their way back.

The brochures are in the photos. The stories are real. The people are our neighbors, our family members, our community.

Thank you for keeping hope afloat. 🙏

URGENT NEED — RENT DUE TOMORROW BY 2 PM

Acts of Kindness Family Ministry is standing with Angie, a mother of four children, who has worked hard this month to keep her family stable. Her rent is $1,200, and she has already earned $800 on her own. She is $400 short, and the full amount must be paid tomorrow by 2 PM to keep her family in their home.

Angie has been fighting to overcome trauma and build resilience. She’s doing everything she can to provide a safe place for her children. This month, she worked as many hours as possible — and made it further than ever before. She just needs help bridging the last gap.

This is what our ministry is here for — to help families stay together, overcome trauma, and build stability.

If you feel led to help cover the remaining $400, your support will go directly toward keeping Angie and her four little ones in their home.

We’re so proud to have Morgan as a member of Jillian’s House. Morgan has had a past life of misuse and has turned over a new leaf! She is working diligently to leave her old self behind and transform into what God has in store for her. Morgan was baptized Sunday!! What a fitting picture… the halo over her 😊

The men at our Travis’ House, along with a few volunteers, took an old backyard shed, resided it, installed a new window, painted, extended the shed with a new a lean to, added a fire pit area, trenched electrical and sodded the yard. Transformed an eyesore to a backyard retreat! Transforming oneself while transforming their home.

Over the years, through generosity of others, we have been incredibly successful it getting single moms into safe housing. Every person we sponsor has a very strict plan that is developed for their particular situation. Financial budgeting is a key piece of it. Be rest assured, we are fiscal stewards and fully accountable with every dollar received.

Before anything else, I want to say thank you.
Because of your generosity, several families have been able to keep their homes, their lights, and their hope. You stepped in when others could not, and your kindness has carried them through some of their hardest days.
Recently the need has increased, last week and this week. Mothers calling either they cannot pay the utilities or they may be evicted. We are walking with each one, budgeting, assesing and supporting.
We are the last hope for them.

Every gift, every prayer, every share matters. You’ve helped mothers breathe again, children sleep safely, and families feel seen and loved.
Thank you for continuing to stand in the gap. Your compassion is keeping families in the light.
