GiGi's Playhouse Sugar Land Non-profit, Down Syndrome Achievement Center, providing FREE educational and therapeutic programs. and Mexico.

GiGi's Playhouse Sugar Land is one of many Down Syndrome Achievement Centers across the U.S. The mission of GiGi's Playhouse is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. GiGi's Playhouse offers free purposeful therapeutic and educational programming to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Everyday, GiGi's Playhouse Sugar Land celebrates the achievements of individuals with Down syndrome as students, co-workers, volunteers, friends, and valued members of society.

​Which means most individuals with Down syndrome are grown-ups, and adulthood is the longest part of the story.​

​They want what other adults want. Their own money. Their own friends. Their own space. Their own say in it.​

​That is why our commitment does not stop at graduation. GiGi Prep, GiGi University, GiGi Professional and GiGi’s Achievers are FREE career training programs built for adults — communication, time management, money handling, workplace skills, job certifications.​

This week, St. Laurence Social Concerns Ministry hosted our GiGi Professionals for their quarterly service day. They made coloring books to include in Halloween bags they assembled for kids.
